Debain finally has an opendb package in testing so i’ve switched over to using that version. I got a version upgrade in the process that required some time to get going but it’s now capable of storing more than just DVD’s, CD’s and vidoes.
Well I’ve just added gallery to this list of running php scripts on my server and you can get to by clicking the Our Photos link on the left. Gallery as the name suggest is a online photo gallery for displays albums of photos, I’ve added it because I wanted somewhere to post photos of the work we are doing on our house so that we can just mail link to friends and family rather than mail then bulky emails.
Well it’s been a while but I’ve finally added some stuff to the site. This is in the form of running uptimed and outputting the results above. Ok so my current uptime isnt’ anything to write home about but one day I may have a good one 🙂
Hi it’s been a while since I’ve said anything here. I’ve added a DVD/Video/CD database lending system and ave added all my DVD’s to it so far. If your curious there is a guest account (Username Guest, Password Guest). If you know me then why not request an account and add your own media to the database so that you can borrow any of the items listed.
Well this weekend has been most productive, I’ve converted the servers filesystem over to ext3, it went without a hitch (A bit too simple really now everyone will do it). I’ve also set up apache to work with virtual hosts for some other domains I have. If you want to see it in action check out the Katis Site link to the left. As I had a couple of mates over we also played a bit of firearms and counter strike 🙂
Ok now I’ve got the site back to a working state just got a couple of things still to fix. I would be typical if now the conversion to mysql is complete that the next apt-update/upgrade cycle I do adds the missing php postgres bindings. Oh well see
